"Single-vendor, all-in-one solutions for OSS/BSS applications consolidate the functions and processes that are most often used together and are delivered as products."

The simplification of communications service providers' (CSPs') operational and business support systems (OSS/BSS) applications is becoming increasingly necessary to support opex reduction and revenue generation via the development, launch and operation of new infrastructure, services and monetisation processes. This report provides a strategic viewpoint of this simplification across the whole OSS/BSS applications market.

Key questions answered in this report:

  • What defines an all-in-one software solution?
  • How mature is each vendor's solution in the market?
  • What is the justification for using a single-vendor approach when providing operational and business support systems?
  • What use cases lend themselves to the single-vendor approach?
