Polystyrene microspheres are the particles/beads made of styrene monomers with the sizes between 0.1 and 100 um. Preparation of polymer microspheres involves the technique called emulsion or suspension polymerization. Generally, the structure of polymer microspheres contains a solid core, consisting of polystyrene.
