This IDC Market Share study provides historical market share data (2019-2023) for the EMEA server market. For the second time, the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa are included in this study. We are seeing growing interest in these markets and their synergy with the European market. The historical data provides the top server vendor shares by product (form factor). IDC has reported vendor shares in vendor revenue and units for the market and in vendor revenue for the product segment views."2023 was a challenging year for some of the major vendors in EMEA. Major cloud providers have taken the lead in AI-driven infrastructure, but it is unclear for how long," said Luis Fernandes, senior research manager, IDC's EMEA: Future of Digital Infrastructure. "IDC research suggests that although customers are turning to public cloud offerings for these new workloads, they're doing so out of necessity. We'll need to see how the market unfolds as the demand by cloud providers of accelerated infrastructure subsides and traditional vendors fulfill their backlogs."
