This IDC study presents the U.S. wearable computing device forecast for 2024-2028."Following two straight years of decline, the U.S. wearables market is set to rebound," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director, IDC's Wearables team. "2020 and 2021 saw terrific volumes of wearable device shipments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, followed next by a cooling off period as companies met consumer demand. We anticipate that 2024 will be the start of strong replacement cycles to push the market back up slowly."
