Enterprises have already seen the impact of GenAI on their connectivity investment road map as use cases impact data creation, movement, and functions. Businesses will align investment in appropriate connectivity segments to ensure that key use cases are optimized and will use AI to improve connectivity-related business functions."AI and generative AI's horizontal impact on connectivity will be multifaceted; however, the largest share of enterprises believes that it will have a direct impact on network management and security," commented Paul Hughes, research director for Future Enterprise Connectivity Strategies at IDC.
